Why? So vote based on race n gender? Why does either matter? Try voting on issues n what's important not stupid sh*t like race n gender. How is being a woman of color gonna help feed the poor, create jobs etc.? Absolutely Nothing!

Why? Because studies consistently show that women of color and/or women in general, especially in the legislature, are more likely to advocate for policies (feeding the poor, jobs, etc.) that impact children & families more often than their male counterparts.
