A lawmaker, especially a lawyer/judge who believes anybody is above the law is suspect. The job of a justice is to literally be unbiased in their thinking and judge the evidence without bias. How can he be qualified to do that if he already believes that anyone is above the law?

Most will but don't be saddened by the few who don't. West Virginia and North Carolina are different, and those senators must answer to their constituents one way or another. Their actions do not represent the whole party. Also, remember that McConnel schedules the vote dates.
