According to CDC (2010), National Domestic Violence Statistics, 1 in 4 women will experience severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime. And, 1 in 10 women in the United States will be raped by an intimate partner in her lifetime. @SenFeinstein @soychicka
In an average month, 50 American women are shot and killed by current or former intimate partners in the United States. Violence against women and children need to be taken more seriously. We can’t let this continue.

Known domestic abusers should not be allowed to own a gun period. Anyone with a violent record should not be allowed to own a gun. It's plain common sense.

If you are convicted of domestic violence you are already ban from owning a gun. Know what gun laws are already on the books
