Senator Harris, thank you for amplifying my voice! As you have mentioned, representation is crucial for all of us and at all ages. Unfortunately, disabled voices tend to be sidelined and ignored, especially in the service of "the greater good".

Currently, in your state, legislation is being introduced and passed which criminalize the use of plastic straws in places like restaurants and coffee shops. In some places, straws could be requested; in others, they are outright banned. These actions hurt the disabled community.
