More than 450,000 Americans sit in jail today awaiting trial because they cannot afford to pay bail. Reforming our country's bail system should be a non-partisan issue. Whether you sit in jail shouldn't be a function of your bank account.

Jails should never be "for profit." As
@BarackObama said, for-profit prisons are "morally reprehensible." The 450,000 are being exploited for profit. It should be a non-partisan issue, but nothing is non-partisan anymore, and hate reigns.#ImpeachTrump#Liegate -

That's exactly how it is! I am an advocate in California for families of inmates... This is true ~ The rich pay the bail, the average and poor sit in jail until trial they can't afford bail...

While this is true - it's pathetically ironic that she tweeted it since when I worked as a victim's advocate for the SFDA's office with her - she actively fought against ROR's even on petty crimes for POC with ZERO criminal records
