Ask each nominee if he or she is familiar with Plyler v Doe, 457 US 202 (1982), please to explain the holding and reasoning, and do they agree that as a precedent it is still good law and must be followed (stare decisis).
I know from personal experience — as a beneficiary of the landmark Brown vs. Board ruling desegregating our nation’s schools — that decisions handed down by the Court touch every aspect of our lives. The stakes don’t get any higher with this SCOTUS vacancy.
