Minimum wage is a starter wage. I lived in California and if that is the society you want for the rest of us, no thanks. The disparity is staggering.

The fact that folks are complaining about food stamps being handouts when a lot of people spend all their time working and still can’t pay the bills shows how broken we are. A country that builds bombs instead of homes is a country in moral crisis... not that this is new...

Millions of kids will be stuck in generations of poverty if we as Good Americans can not get this done! This must go till there are solutions put in place that can not be undone!

Totally disagree. I’m a youth football coaching legend with no college degree, and I’m living the dream making $29.35/hr plus bennies and a cell phone and living in an apartment complex with a pool, computer lab, and refurbished Nautilus machine.
