Uh no its not. Polls need to be purged. Ppl move, die, go to jail etc and the polls aren't updated. Registered voters can either verify eligibility or vote within the next 4 years and none of this will affect them.
This decision is deeply wrong. More than 2 million voters have been purged in Ohio since 2011. Try executing a move, working two jobs, getting to work using the bus system, raising 2 kids, getting food on the table, and trying to save for a house and car. These are not the people Republicans want to vote. Obstacles like these are aimed at the poor - and they know it.

Voters who have been purged are dormant - they are not voting. Leaving them on the list only invites fraud. If they want to vote they can always re-register. It's very easy.

It's easy to vote already. Do you want to bring them the ballot and fill it out for them?! Democracy ought to require a little effort.

How easy? When you struggle to make it to your Polling place before it closes, wait in line for an hour or more, only to discover that you've been "re-registered," stripped of your Premier Right as a Citizen in a Democratic Republic, and summarily turned away Election Night.

I live in Ohio, we want clean voter rolls! We have multiple opportunity to verify our residents. This a completely fair and reasonable way to clean our rolls. We are not stupid incompant people! I would like to see our state do more voting awareness, help all.
