Marijuana is less harmful than tobacco and alcohol, and those two industries are fighting to keep it illegal. This is NOT about getting high. This is about corporate PROFITS.
Legalizing marijuana at the federal level is about stopping our country from repeating the same mistakes of the past. Most Americans already know that too many lives have been needlessly ruined because of the War on Drugs. When Democrats had full control they could’ve done something about this but you chose not to you now the GOP is enforcing draconian drug laws I blame this squarely on Democrats

I love Obama but this is one area where he didn’t go far enough. He and Eric Holder had the power to declassify its Schedule 1 status so it could be empirically studied. They didn’t and now it’s back to useless War on Drugs.

Marijuana helps many people. Alcohol destroys the body, medications destroy the body and are both legal. Marijuana is not harmful to our bodies and helps many with health issues and it's still illegal. Even if put on medical marijuana insurance doesn't pay, they give opioids.

Very true, for adults. The CBD (non psycho active) part appears to be helpful for kids and adults. But if they’d just declassify it, it could be studied. I believe there are many illnesses it could help.
