But...didn't you prosecute Marijuana crimes to the fullest extent as an attorney general when you had the authority to demand minimum sentences for them? I'm a Dem but your hypocricy here is embarassing for our party.
Too many lives have been ruined because of the War on Drugs. Federal marijuana legalization and restorative justice are about stopping our country from repeating the same mistakes of the past.

The War on Drugs was lost long ago. The foolish and puritanical thinking surrounding Marijuana is out of date and out of step; alcohol kills and enslaves more humans yearly than pot ever will. It is time to come out of the darkness; people should be able to make their own choices
