Why is a minimum wage job all of a sudden supposed to be enough to support a family on? They are starter jobs for students or those who want to work par time. They are a spring board to a better job, a hand up, not a hand out.

May I ask why you made the increase of the minimum wage Race issue? Would the increase not be for everyone no matter what sex or race? Another important question-if the minimum wage is raised to $15, wouldn’t the increase in the cost of living nullify the raise?
