Step 7: Publishing Obviously steam is a must, dont consider (inferior) alternatives like http://itch.io or Kongregate, those are for scrubs. Self publishing is never ideal so sign on with a publisher who’ll take your money without really giving you anything in return

Step 10: Pricing and Monetization This is basically platform dependent, for Steam you should be selling at $60 but on a 90% sale on the first steam sale to hit anyone who wont pay $60. For mobile it should be free with exploitative mircotransactions.

Step 11: Managing expecations Its your first game/project so you need to make sure you manage your expectations. You arent going to make $10m + on your first project (I mean you might) You should be expecting $1million in revenue and 100k+ units sold, no exceptions.

Step 12: Looking Back This is mostly pointless, if (unlikely, but if) you didn't meet the expected goals in 11 you should be aware this doesn't mean you made a bad game, it means you made an under-appreciated masterpiece.
