A less traveled iteration of the is wherein a perfect egg is fried into the center of a piece of bread so the yolk stays soft. I like mine with and - a local sausage only available in and lower Maritime Canada

I just told my husb that women couldn't even get a credit card w/o a male signature until 1974, and he was incredulous. I think a lot of people don't realize that the deep misogyny of this country is so close that it's not even in the rear view mirror. It's here. It never left.

This. What the fuck is wrong with people? The Civil Rights Era was sitting down in places you weren't welcome in and refusing the leave, blocking streets, persistent pickets, disrupting schools by attending with military escorts. Fuck civility. Fuck the comfort of your oppressor

I feel like I’m losing my mind when analysts and pundits say this leak has ruined the legitimacy of the court when one Justice tried to rape a girl, another is in a literal cult, and yet another harassed women and then helped his wife plan a coup. Like what are we doing here?

The LEAK is a threat to “the legitimacy of the court”? You mean the court made up of no less than five justices appointed by a president that lost the popular vote? That Mitch changed the “rules” to ensure confirmation? We’ve been mourning the courts legitimacy since Bush v Gore.

Congress must pass legislation that codifies Roe v. Wade as the law of the land in this country NOW. And if there aren’t 60 votes in the Senate to do it, and there are not, we must end the filibuster to pass it with 50 votes.

As we’ve warned, SCOTUS isn’t just coming for abortion - they’re coming for the right to privacy Roe rests on, which includes gay marriage + civil rights. Manchin is blocking Congress codifying Roe. House has seemingly forgotten about Clarence Thomas. These 2 points must change

An extremist Supreme Court is poised to overturn and impose its far-right, unpopular views on the entire country. It's time for the millions who support the Constitution and abortion rights to stand up and make their voices heard. We're not going back—not ever.

  13. This May Day, remember that everything we have was won through the struggle and the blood of workers.

Image with big text at the top reading "the weekend was a crazy leftist idea" Then a drawing of cops attacking workers. Then more text saying "In 1886, 7 union members in Wisconsin died fighting for the 5-day work week and the 8-hour work day."
