Franz died in 1828 aged only 31. If had existed, he would have lived. The music he left behind is a miracle. Antibiotics are miracles of modern medicine. But they are losing their effectiveness

My final tweet this afternoon. Fantastic to see the lived experience front and centre in speeches and presentations Now crucial to see that translate into a patient powered

Have your say! Especially all of us already affected by - we KNOW how our lives, values and priorities have changed. And how we had NO IDEA before- so if we do not share that insight, how will we build a better future for those who will be diagnosed with cancer tomorrow?

is an absolutely inspirational patient movement. THIS is what happens when absolutely reasonable requests are met with indifference- and all it takes is ONE determined individual

Glass half-full in in health access in the EU 🇪🇺, 2009-2018: Unmet medical care needs of the poorest fell by 50%. Glass half-empty: Unmet needs of the poorest more than twice that of the richest. See @OECDsocial policy brief 👉

For all my colleagues- this is one of the truly inspirational examples of what patients are capable to do. Has had quite some ramifications- like 'what are patients allowed to do' but hard to argue when patient-built beats any existing quality standard

Evidence based medicine isn’t the patriarchy. Choosing a therapy without knowing the supporting data or lack of data isn’t an informed choice. You can’t get unbiased health information from someone selling product. A randomized double blinded trial shows Reiki isn’t effective.
