    Three years ago today, I published my site listing books with diabetic characters! I hope it’s been able to give some much needed representation to my fellow diabuddies. I will continue to add to it anytime I find something new!

    Furthermore, because 2020 tax returns haven’t been filed yet, the fastest and quickest way for the IRS to get out the payments was basing it on the most recently filed tax year. Hence the recovery rebate credit.

    Friendly tax CPA here. If your 2020 income was lower than 2019 and you got a partial or no economic impact payment, you may qualify for the recovery rebate on your 2020 tax return.

    I still don’t understand how relief payments are based on your 2019 income when people lost their jobs in 2020.

    It’s tax time! If you make under $72k annually check out IRS’s free file programs and avoid giving money to places like Turbo Tax and H&R Block. Intuit (Turbo Tax) has lobbied for years to keep our taxes complicated
