Given early enough, some of the drugs had clearly observed benefit. None of the trials were perfect...understandable given the circumstances. While these drugs are certainly not all equal, given the alternative, having every option available is imperative.
I have not seen any studies that convincingly show efficacy for any of the drugs (including ZMapp). That said, we clearly need more studies and the current outbreak presents an opportunity - plus, of course, there are mechanistic reasons why the drugs *might* work.

Agree on more studies, but they need to be done well-Both the siRNA and zMAPP trials had many weaknesses principal of which where inclusion criteria. Bar was incredibly high-probably too high for any candidate to have a chance, but understandably so given the circumstances...

Completely agree. Let's hope we'll get some much needed data from the current outbreak - and of course, therapeutics that work.
