Indeed. We’ve all been there. The mutation myth needs to be laid to rest though.
Interestingly enough they actually *do* use the term 'mutation rate' in the paper. They obviously know the difference though, so I'm sure it must be an oversight.pic.twitter.com/79cp2Zg3wx

I guess so. Unless it was a deliberate reference to the phrase used in the paper in question (in which case “so-called mutation rate” would be better!)
