Anyone found a good way of flipping between the increasingly common widescreen slide formats and 4:3? PowerPoint makes a mess.

It's really frustrating - my current 'best' slide deck is widescreen format but it looks awful in 4:3.
Widescreen is awful for presentations IMO - I only have 4:3. 4:3 is big enough - no need to add more junk to slides to fill out widescreen.

Dunno - I prefer the widescreen . Looks nicer to me and typically suits the points I want to make .
