We're basically all infected with TTV and other Anelloviruses, so I'd be surprised if you didn't see it everywhere.

I think (fairly) unique amongst viruses, but obviously not bacteria. My surprise is the fact that there aren't many others.

Yup, very interesting! We thought about using these as 'signatures' for individuals - never got it off the ground...
