#Dengue vaccine = great! However, I would wait until we know about interaction w. #Zika E.g. http://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspective/2016/07/contrary-dengue-vaccine-response-hints-possible-problems-zika …https://twitter.com/BreakDengue/status/758647727353794560 …

Indeed. But much too risky to hope for that (esp. given recent pubs). Extensive studies needed asap. No taking back a vacc.

this is true. But isn't it fair to assume that lack of "severe" disease as result of Zika introduction in Brazil would suggest

that potential Ab enhancement of Zika is not too clinically relevant, so that Dengue protection outweighs this concern?

In my opinion no. Plausible links for MicroC and GBS to Dengue have been made. Again, once you vacc. there's no going back.

GBS rates seem to be very low (lower than eg assoc w flu), MicroC, yes this is an issue, but dengue during pregnancy bigger

Yup, agreed. Unrelated to clinical risk is the maelstrom following even a few DENV-vaccine Zika enhancement cases. Would be DOA
