We had to buy a county a *new* fax machine b/c their old one stopped each fax at page 30 (silently ignoring patient result 31-100).

The NHS was reporting to euroMOMO in what looked liked real time. Until they stopped. Even if the US wasn't horrifically inefficient they would probably have been told to get inefficient real quick.

It's fascinating how the virus, as it spreads and replicates, is able to exploit weaknesses in human society. Poor planing gives it amazing opportunities.
