I have been privately sharing our manuscript with scientists who are using the Liu MP789 or Xiao GISAID genome in their analysis so that they can make informed decisions. I am happy to do that if you're interested. I don't believe in holding back impt findings.

We put our bioRxiv submission on hold because of the sensitivity of this issue - again, we wanted to give the journals time to assess the situation, communicate with the authors. But now that 3 weeks have passed, I'm starting to think it may be necessary to go back onto bioRxiv.
