Yea it doesn’t make sense to me that LA would have the same prevalence but lack the deaths. I don’t know the methods they used but in general if the numbers flat-out don’t make sense, there’s probably a reason!
dont deaths depend on the demographics. assuming constant death rate across different regions seems deeply flawed thinking.
