The mRNA-1273 #COVID19 vaccine candidate from @moderna_tx has gotten the green light from @US_FDA to move to Phase II. Still no animal protection data, only unpublished immunogenicity data, but the staging and running all the different aspects needed for movement through clinical trials is unprecedented and offers hope for this and other countermeasure candidates to get accelerated consideration.
