There is plan B which would be isolate anyone over 50 strongly, and open up to build herd immunity in the other 65% of the population. Unfortunately we don't know if immunity really works with this virus.

Factual? More like farcical. The author makes heavy use of propagandist 'science' that was written expressly to capture headlines while in preprint. Almost none of what the author says is true. It's upsetting to see an America so misled.

If I read your analysis correctly. We should just open today, have rolling lockdowns if we approach exceeding medical capacity. I don’t see much in you article that is data driven or solution oriented. Not meant to inform, intented to activate a response.

The author states very clearly: "The only way to restart the economy, then, is to put a highly effective system in place to test millions of people, trace their movements, and quickly quarantine those who might have been infected." That isn't happening at present.
