Same. I guess the only saving grace of my tweet is that it’s still true that 1.5% of the people they tested are positive, and that the burden is higher than RT-PCR diagnosed (duh) and therefore the case fatality rate lower (also, duh). Of course there could be false positives

Yea I think maybe some concern about false positives! Just already seen people be like ah ha this proves it’s not even as bad as flu. Which is a bummer.

I think just looking at the daily death toll kills that notion, regardless of this study.

Yes, the case fatality rate is lower, but that’s already taken into consideration by the better studies. Issue is that the percentage of cases dying out of recorded cases will be ~10% - not the lower likely more accurate ~2%.
