Thanks Thomas. Had a quick look at these and they unfortunately don't appear to add anything new. They're very close to previous pango CoVs and don't have the furin or 'human' RBD (i.e., similar to bats). Hopefully more clues soon - and we'll take a closer look at these new ones.
Do you propose to compare the ACE2 gene of each species to find if Sars2 might have obtained its human ACE2 ability from adaption into each animal species ? The paper doesn't list the animal species whose ACE2 is closest to ours.
