Just installed Mac OS Catalina and really annoyed by all the junk @apple apps that you can't uninstall? Apple has made it really hard to do in this version, but there's a way

7. Delete those pesky apps using the Terminal - e.g., 'sudo rm -rf /System/Applications/Books.app'. The easiest way is to go into the Terminal, type 'sudo rm -rf ', go back to the Finder, select all the apps you want to delete and drag them into the terminal window [...]

Bonus tip - if you hide the apps instead of uninstalling, use the ‘Command-Shift-.’ to turn on/off invisible files.

You might want to hold on to that 10 year old MBP... All the new ones are terrible. Just sayin' ;-).
