For the vaccine - with earlier data I was pretty sure it was working. However, with the number of HCWs getting infected and @WHO and others being cagey about its effectiveness, I'm no longer sure.
For the drugs - I have seen no convincing evidence that any of them work.
Efficacy was reported to be high. But then there is efficacy and efficacy (they way its assessed remains fascinating to me).
Effectiveness?
My grad students and I had this exact conversation a few days ago. The HCW infections are a big concern as this will only detract local HCWs from participating (as we saw in West Africa)
