In addition, even if fully infectious virus particles (not just RNA fragments) would be present at certain times in bat species this does not prove a direct "spillover" transmission chain to humans. Who could rather get it by collecting/touching a monkey/ape filovirus death case.

not saying that all the discussed results are an indicator in the direction that bat species play a role (which has been known for several years now) ... just not the ultimate evidence ... so no need for hyping it.
