I think it was $3 billion for all 11 diseases they considered - so a little less than $300 million per disease

Honestly, I'm not totally sure since the writing was so convoluted! If you count the necessary failed vaccines, I thought that's what came out to ~3b for the successful ones. But I'm honestly not sure.

Yup, I think you're right - although that's only through phase 2a. It's funny how distilling the single most important number that 98% of readers would care about can be so hard
