Yup, absolutely - hence I think it's probably time we start looking at these guys a little differently - not just a one-off of cases - it's likely here to stay (together with a bunch others).

Good question - although I don't actually know what the mossie distribution is throughout the year. Yes, it gets high in the summer months, but there's something about year-long persistence.
