I heard on NPR that you would not oppose efforts to permit no excuse absentee voting if that is what the legislature chooses to do. Is that true?

Sure. I added that expanding absentee/early voting is expensive and that's been the primary basis for opposition previously by me and by county clerks. This is a budgetary issue more than an ideological issue. Today's election was heavily subsidized by stimulus dollars.
