Today, I obtained a dismissal of Amy McGrath for Senate’s lawsuit that challenged the regulation implementing my bipartisan agreement with Governor Beshear, and that sought to have a court declare our “current system of absentee voting” unconstitutional. Here's my statement:

I’m no fan of the McGrath for Senate campaign, but this isn’t a fair description. My expectations about the McGrath campaign are such that I assumed this who statement accurate, but I regret that.

A dismissal of her motion to join was granted. I support your position, and your bipartisanship, but not this characterization. It misled me, and based on twitter, I’m not the only one.

To an extent, I’d agree. However, if she wanted to join the lawsuit - that means she supported it from the start. We don’t need someone who speaks from both sides of the mouth, which is what she did. I don’t think it’s a misrepresentation - Amy did that herself.
