You did it, Kentucky - 889,679 registered voters requested an absentee ballot for the June 23 primary. Add to that 48,044 registered voters who've voted early in-person as of yesterday. Together that's 27% of registered voters. Turnout in this primary will be historically high.
Franklin County's in the lead with 38% "turnout" (ballots requested + votes cast early in-person). Next is Woodford at 32%, then Fayette at 31%. Not all ballots requested necessarily will be cast; but also there are 7 days left to vote in person, so these numbers will increase.
My absentee ballot has the wrong middle initial. What should I do? It’s never been wrong before.

Amazing how, when you make it easier and more accessible to vote people actually do it... Think of how much higher turn out would be if this was a normal option along with enough polling locations...

This is definitely an indicator that when Voting is offered with easier options then more people will participate. Why would we not want to offer this option at every election?
Because Republicans don't want more people to vote. They only want the people to vote that they think will vote for them. They need continued low voter turnout to win.
