I'm pleased to announce that I've been released from all claims made by Jefferson, Fayette, Kenton, Boone and Campbell County voters with respect to single voting locations in those counties. The plaintiffs note that I have opposed, but do not control, these counties’ 1/2
decisions to each have only one voting location. I've publicly and privately encouraged these counties to reach a settlement with the plaintiffs and, if possible at this late date, offer additional voting locations. 2/2
Can you encourage them to have more drop off locations for the absentee ballots for those that are still wary of mailing them back in? There's no reason every clerks office shouldn't be a drop off spot.
