    PSA: If there’s work to be done in social justice spaces, from environmental to food, to the courts, to state and sexual violence, guaranteed Black women are already doing it. Seek out these women instead of screaming: “WHY IS NO ONE SPEAKING ABOUT THIS.” Someone always is.

    From 2007: Y’all’s Uncle Joe explaining that schools in Iowa are better because there aren’t a lot of Black people there. Oh, and that Black mothers birth babies into dysfunctional homes and then never talk to them, so of course Black children aren’t as smart as white children.

    Few people know that I cut my teeth organizing around the CP5 case. In particular when Trump pulled this our youth organizing group decided we had to speak up and push back. I am so glad to see bring this story to the mainstream.

    We took so many trips on this skybridge. And I remember our conversations with Fairy the most. She’s amazing.

    Joe Biden called Anita Hill to apologize. Back in 2018, Hill told his failure to reach out to her had become a running joke in her household.
