    "Hospital capacity is one of our key metrics." And back to masks stating that mask wearing lowers infection rate, hospitalization and allows the healthcare system to keep up with the sick, not just COVID-19 sick. There are plans, crisis plans, to create more beds.

    Spivak says getting close to maximum of ICU capacity is a concern at U of U. Dr. Dunn says the concern is statewide. Herbert says four weeks ago 115 beds were used for COVID and today its approximately 240, almost double. He says it's not just ICU beds but ICU personnel
