    In response to a question on how he handled budget cuts at UND Kennedy said, "we have, since that time, required all our colleges to have a 5% budget reserve."

    In response to a question on how he will dismantle White Supremacy in campus policy Kennedy says at UND they sent a survey to monitor if students felt welcome on campus and then implanted structural changes to ensure faculty taught about the full and history of this country.

    The current question is what will you do to protect Muslim students and faculty in regards to the travel ban? Are you willing to take a public stand. Kennedy says, "I am willing and anxious to take a public stand."
