    On point! Our 2020 publication on European Strategic Autonomy argued indeed in favour of defence cooperation by (a.o.) the use of Article 44 (coalitions of the willing)

    If I read AKK's plea about the need for political will in EU security and defence co-operation and the use of article 44, I can't help but recall our report of 2020 - in which we argued exactly that. Her piece: Ours:

    Een militair is stoer, sterk én mannelijk, dat lijkt de norm te zijn bij Defensie en dat begint al op de militaire academie. Maar dat betekent ook dat vrouwen zich vaak niet op hun plek voelen in deze machocultuur.
