Optics. No one stopped atrocities in Rwanda, if they do anything in SA it looks like we're only concerned with white people. It's wrong, but we live in a f'ed up world.

No we sanctioned the F out of SA. Do you not recall? We do take in thousands of African refugees. We have urged others to as well and have give USAID to mostly African Nations. If we take in the Farmers we are helping humanity. SA opened borders. They are at fault for the issues.

I agree with you, but media is rarely more than surface level. Optics will slow down a lot of things that need to be done to help these farmers.

That's what needs to change. The West needs to step up & demand that whites in SA be given refugee status - no need to wait for the UN to declare it. Governments in Canada; UK/ Australia - Europe show their special blend of hypocrisy and racism sitting on the sidelines.
