Does she work? If she doesn't Beggars can't be choosers! Where's the husband? Does he work? If he doesn't beggars can't be choosers! NO council has ever given me a home they all laughed told me to rent privately or buy! Mass immigration just one reason there's less property

Quite! A few years ago I was struggling and went to get help from my local council - I’d worked since I was 16, lived in that borough for 15 years kids go to school in that borough - I was entitled to bugger all

-
I suffered the Same thing with 2 councils. Nobody in power over the years looked and thought where will the next generation live they just sold social housing without replacing it then opened the floodgates with immigration which shoved everyone's kids to the bottom of the pile
-
I was working away from home in Brighton and was booted out after being there for ages because the landlord could get more income for 'asylum seekers' from the Government
-
I think the way the councils treat you is also wrong. They made me feel like a criminal when I went in to ask for help during a rough phase of our early relationship. We’ve always worked just needed a help temporarily and we were treated like fraudsters!
-
But what annoyed me most is a guy next to me who couldn’t speak a word of English and didn’t work was being treated like a prince. I over heard every word about how they’d fill the form for him and make sure he got his money! I only went in for info. I left without anything I was
-
Made to feel embarrassed, like I was committing a crime and ashamed that I’d even had the cheek to ask. We wouldn’t be entitled now, it would of been temporary but they didn’t want to help me. Only in Britain are you make to feel like 2nd class citizens in your own nation.
-
Yes I felt like that too!! Felt like a scrounger and yes im a single parent but was married to my kids dad for 10 years!! It just makes me so mad

For perspective, here's how much a small 2 bed flat costs in the same area. Almost half a million pounds! And this ungrateful parasite is complaining that her free, fully insulated, double glazed home isn't good enough? That's fine, give it to someone who deserves it then.pic.twitter.com/rnovxUwaGd

It’s a shipping container....
-
Yes a shipping container which is modified and covers mostly all basic needs a human need at home. So what else she want? A villa?. She should be happy as they are still getting something better and safe.
-
Yes and not on the streets! So many homeless people would love to live in it and not on the streets!
-
Yup!! She is getting many facilities and she should be grateful. She got a home at least where they can live in a safe environment and don't sleep in cold place but she still complain about it. Think of those who does not even have that.https://twitter.com/UN/status/1164522891494481926?s=19 …

“ it was worse than when she lived in a "normal house" in Eritrea and Sudan.” Maybe go home then?
-
She won't, you will have to find a stern and absolutely unapologetic political solution else today she is whinning alone, after a generation her 4 kids won't just whine they will take whatever they need by force.
-
After a generation with the number of kids they'll have, they won't need to take it by force, they'll become a majority and vote the natives out.

Thousands of service personnel have lived in those accommodation units, and worse, over the years. A lot of those very same ex-service personnel are now living on the streets and would jump at a chance of such accommodation. Those homeless veterans are the real deserving folk.
-
We lived in them on a tour of NI. Bloody great they were. Better than sleeping rough.
-
100% agree! House homeless veteran first!
