The website http://www.forthecommongood.com.au/  has three tabs - 2 on the South Australian election, one on business tax cuts.

The “For the Common Good” website contains no BCA branding. The website says “Authorised by Centre Ground Limited of Level 42, 120 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC” This is the same address of the BCA.

In summary, the BCA created a front group, called it a community organisation, kept the BCA name off of it, and then used this front group to run political campaign in a state election.

Questions: what other front groups does the BCA operate? What other covert campaigns have they run?

Given that the BCA owned up today to running a covert campaign in South Australia, Will the BCA tell us what other covert campaigns they have run without putting their name to them? Will they commit to be up front in the future?

In Senate hearings last week, Westacott acknowledged that she & Grant King met with Cambridge Analytica. She said they didn’t have any relationship with them now and denied using the company in the SA election. But she dodged a question about whether Andre Bragg met CA.

Questions: Can the BCA answer as to Mr Bragg’s dealings with Cambridge Analytica? Has he met with them? When? Where? How many times? What was discussed? Has he used their services in his capacity at the BCA?

In the fine print, under T&Cs & the privacy policy on For the Common Good website - it states both “Common Good” and “Centre Ground” are “wholly owned subsidiary of the Business Council of Australia” . There is no public facing for Centre Ground. No BCA branding.

Westacott says in today’s @Australian that “we will collect data voluntarily and comply with every Australian law.” So they are collecting data Then the BCA must be open about the extent and nature of the BCA’s dealings, including Mr Bragg’s, with Cambridge Analytica.

You also have to wonder how many of those corporate members of the BCA will have an expense item for $200k to the BCA in their P&L. If they do, will it be highlighted as a political donation?

Your party flagrantly lied to the Australian people regarding the appalling "Mediscare" campaign before the last election. Obama relentlessly mined social media and was acclaimed for it. Seriously...such double standards!
