This is a severe breach of security. That employee could have crashed that plane anywhere he wanted to. Heads will roll on this one.

that's all I'm thinking about. This has to be the biggest plane stolen since 9/11. Seems like he could have done some serious damage..

Great, another wildfire!
-
But small. He seemed to realize his mistake, stated he didn't want to hurt anyone else, and he didn't want to mess up McChord AFB by crashing there. Maybe he tried for the water close to the island and overshot? Let's give him the benefit of the doubt over his FINAL intentions.

-
I mean, he only stole an airplane, but sure; let’s just call it a “mistake”.

This debris field looks large for a plane that was almost empty of fuel, there are communications with the tower were he says he has 2100lbs of fuel thats less than 400 gallons that plane burns like 30lbs a minute...that spread of debris says it was shot down
-
Probably by the fighter jets that were chasing him. You have to remember this is probably the biggest plane to be stolen since 9/11. They didn't know what he was going to do and with a plane that size, you could do some serious damage.
-
They offered to talk him in to McCord and he said nah not just yet so I’m guessing that he either was shot down or tried a risky maneuver and stalled and crashed..he was really low on fuel for anything else
-
No, he said he didnt want to try to land where there is people. Not "nah"

They totally shot that plane down, no way they were gonna risk him flying into some populated area and killing others
-
No he ran slap out of fuel, he couldn't get the cabin to pressurize and so he didn't gain enough altitude and it chewed through all the fuel in no time, he retired being down to 2100 on fuel that is landing fuel only, and he refused to land where there were people. Sad just sad.
-
Except there are people and homes on that island. It has a census record of a population of 17. That island ain't that big according to a quick Google search and there seem to be enough homes on it that I'm wondering how he didn't drop that plane on one.
-
He said he didn’t want to hurt no one and was crying
-
Funny, the girl who pushed the other girl off the 60ft bridge in Clark County said she didn't want to hurt her, but the girl still has five broken ribs and worrisome air bubbles in her chest cavity from the fall. Just because you say something, crying doesn't negate doing harm.
-
He was a obviously having some kind of mental brake down and I bet him stealing the plane a spur of the moment thing. He never wanted to hurt people.
-
I understand that, but not wanting to hurt people doesn't mean that he hasn't dropped a plane on one of the 17 residents of the island or one of their homes.
