Walker registered to vote in GA in 2021 after living in TX for decades. To run for office/vote in GA, 15 rules, not all of which need to be met, are considered for residency, including where the resident takes their homestead tax exemption and where they intend permanently live.

Under Texas law, if a homeowner moves out of the state, the resident can still receive the exemption only if they don't establish "principal residence" elsewhere and plan to return to Texas within two years.

Walker took the homestead exception — which TX law says is for your “primary residence,” the last two years. Georgia has 15 rules considered for establishing residency for purpose of voting — one of which is voting/running where you take the exemption.

This video was two year ago -- I thought all kids loved balloons like this, but realized part of it was Beans was stuck in hospital bed for months and just loved how fun and silly the balloon moving was. I'm so glad she had that and she deserved every minute of the happiness.
