We will do everything we can for our health workers. We can all help by saving masks for them, so they can stay healthy and treat more patients. Masks are not recommended for healthy people to prevent infection, but they are so important for our health care workers to have.

These are the new cases: • A male in his 50s, hospitalized at Highline Hospital. No known exposures. • A male in his 70s, a resident of LifeCare, hospitalized at EvergreenHealth in Kirkland. The man had underlying health conditions, and died 3/1/20

- Do not go to the emergency room unless essential. Emergency rooms need to be able to serve those with the most critical needs. If you have symptoms like cough, fever, or other respiratory problems, contact your regular doctor first.

So we are waiting until we have a case in a school before we do any closures. I’m not in healthcare but it seems pretty obvious it way better to be proactive then reactive in this situation.

I mean a couple days to at least come up with a plan and have certain protocols in place. Get everyone on the same page. If we can have multiple snow days we can f***ing have a couple days off to get our shit together for this.

Not to be an ass, but the stats would suggest that school age kids are asymptotic carriers, and the likelihood of displaying serve clinical symptoms is extremely low! Local leaders should take notice of this

Time to have a 30 day closure of public schools in the state. Then relook at the situation. Make it up during the summer. not that hard to do.
