My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

The three people your father helped murder when he was a leader in a communist terrorist group never got to see or hear their loved ones again.

Always pleas of mercy and redemption from the ones who have not suffer in the slightest way from his criminal actions. If the families of the dead forgive him and want his freedom, I will respect that. Otherwise, throw his ass back in jail and let him rot.

While we should offer support for victims as they heal, victims’ perspectives cannot be privileged. We need sober, disinterested minds. 40 years is enough time for a murderer/murderer accomplice to rot. Cuomo’s finest hour.
