And he only backed up because he physically had no other option after being shoved. There are a million ways a cop could have gotten him to back up without forcing it.
Try again. The man lands on his back, immediately starts bleeding from the ear, and you can see his grip drop on his phone as he passes out. At least a dozen of those "good" cops walk by without doing shit.
When I see someone who has fallen over and is hurt, whether they tripped or they were pushed, my instinct is to help them. This is the standard reaction for most humans bc we're an interdependent social species. It's actually quite bizarre to see someone *without* that instinct
