No, but then again I didn't vote for a guy who thinks his parents wrongly went to prison after robbery gone bad. But I'm still surprised people voted for him!

I saw an interview and when he was asked if he could empathize with the families of the officers who were murdered by his parent's terrorist friends he said "I was a victim too. They need to learn to forgive." I feel sympathy for him too but wish he would resign.

I actually do have sympathy for him too- what a terrible hand of cards he was dealt. I hope he finds happiness and peace in his life. Problem is his personal situation is completely influencing his judgement and ability to serve the public - he shouldn't be DA, full stop.

Yes. I also can't believe his mom was a fugitive for 8 years and is now a professor at Columbia. We are a very forgiving country and that's a beautiful thing - but we also pay someone $400k a year to prosecute and that isn't happening.
