I don't think we know yet how this fire was started. There are red alert warnings all throughout the area due to low humidity and high winds, which is a lethal combination for Wildfire.
Every news I looked up had the news after it spread. The first report I read was in the afternoon, someone going home from work had shared a story and said campfire. I literally thought it was campfire. It didn't make sense how a campfire burned church n business establishments.

It's called Camp Fire because it started on a road called Camp Creek. They are still investigating the cause. They spread to a massive area because of low humidity and high winds. Last year's Santa Rosa fires was caused by exploding power lines due to high winds.

Hill Fire is in Southern California, Ventura county. Santa Rosa is in Northern CA.

Santa rosa near Sacramento was where there was fire last year. Santa Rosa Valley near Ventura is where there is a fire now.
